Professional Development Alternatives (PDA)
The Bureau of Exceptional Student Education (BESE) Portal Professional Development Alternatives offers a variety of online courses for Florida educators that will increase their ability to respond to the needs of students with disabilities. Facilitated courses provide ongoing communication with an expert local facilitator, group meetings with colleagues, and classroom-related learning activities and assessments. Independent courses offer self-paced learning, content-related activities and assessments, user-friendly format, and responsive design.
For more information visit the BESE Portal to Professional Development Alternatives or contact the FDLRS Miccosukee PDA Coordinator, Sallie Rose, at roses@leonschools.net or (850)561-6553.
